An exquisite Christian Dior haute couture  blouse for the Autumn/Winter 1987/1988 collection celebrating the 40 year anniversary of the infamous 'New Look'. Under the creative direction of Marc Bohan, the house honored the master drapery synonymous with household name with an emphasis on the extravagant use of fabric and expert tailoring. Pumpkin orange silk reflects and holds light with an alluring glow. Expert hand-crafted couture construction. Hidden side zip from waist to bust. V-neck with ruched cummerbund waist.  Zipper on either cuff as well. A few teeny pinholes mark the garment. Excellent vintage condition.
